The Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA) invites all municipalities, First Nations and beneficiaries of funding from Sask Lotteries to recognize Parks and Recreation Month this June! Designating June as Parks and Recreation Month is one small way to celebrate the benefits of parks and outdoor recreation spaces.
This summer we’re encouraging people in Saskatchewan to Connect on Common Ground and celebrate the inclusiveness and diversity of our parks and outdoor recreation spaces. We encourage people from all walks of life to connect outside with their families and friends in parks and recreation spaces.
To keep the momentum going through the summer, the Connect on Common Ground campaign will run June 1 to July 31, supported by digital videos and social media posts. The campaign materials will be available on our website and we encourage you to share them. Posters for recreation facilities and community centers will be available on request.
Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube and help spread the word about Parks and Recreation Month and “Connect on Common Ground” with us.
