Take the Lead! Grant is Available Now!

SPRA is offering financial assistance to schools or community organizations who are engaged in offering the Take the Lead! initiative. Grants will be administered at a maximum of $500.00 per applicant. Funding can be utilized to facilitate a Take the Lead! program at your school or community, which includes training Youth Leaders (students) and a Leadership Coach to run a Take the Lead! program in your community or school. Funding can also be used to send a representative from your school or community organization to participant in a Take the Lead! Train the Trainer workshop.

If approved and you are implementing a new Take the Lead! site, you will receive a Take the Lead! Start-up Equipment Kit (approximately valued at $400.00). Note: Applicants that are already engaged in offering Take the Lead! programming can apply for the equipment kits, but are not guaranteed to receive them, as quantities are limited.

Applications will be processed on a first come, first serve basis. The grant funding is capped and once the funds are allocated, the grant will be closed. This may occur before the October 15 deadline.
