Recreation Professionals Week Spotlight: Kim Hotomani

During Recreation Professionals Week, June 18-24, 2018, the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA) and the Saskatchewan Association of Recreation Professionals (S.A.R.P.) are shining a spotlight on the professionals who make recreation opportunities possible through their hard work and passion.

Today we'd like to highlight the contributions of Kim Hotomani

For the past 5 years, Kim Hotomani has been working as a Recreation Director in the Carry the Kettle First Nation.

Kim has spent this time building up youth involvement in sport and recreation in the community. She devotes her time to create one program after another to encourage Carry the Kettle youth to live a healthy, active lifestyle.

Here's what she had to say about why she loves working in the field:

What do you enjoy most about your position?

I love working with the youth!

This Recreation Professionals Week spotlight was shared with us by the Southeast Connection Sport, Culture & Recreation District
