Meet the Communities in Bloom Judges

  •  Learn the benefits from the Judges’ perspective

  • Understand the Evaluation Grid and how the judging process is positive and beneficial

Planter Design and Floral Ideas

  • Are you looking for ideas that will make your planters stunning! This is a great opportunity to learn more about floral design and specifically how it can be applied to planters.

We’ll be hosting some great guest speakers to inspire us:

- Assiniboia Workshop – Jo Ann Girardin of Assiniboia Communities in Bloom
- Melfort Workshop – Angie Bragg of Wright’s Greenhouse


Volunteer Engagement

  •  Discuss the changing world of community volunteering

  •  Learn about strategies for engaging and retaining volunteers

  •  Get practical examples of how other communities and CiB participants are working with volunteers


Workshop Times In all locations, the workshops will be scheduled as follows:
Registration: 9:30 a.m.
Workshop: 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Lunch will be provided at noon.
