Leadership is an essential ingredient for successful supervisors. The learning objectives for this session include: understanding the importance of leadership in a dynamic and changing work environment, appreciating the different types of leadership styles, identifying traits of exceptional leaders, knowing the difference between leadership and management, understanding when to lead and when to follow, identifying personal leadership strengths and weaknesses using Colour Spectrums, and establishing a leadership action plan. This session will help you create and maintain a high performance recreation team.

Primary Audience: Leaders and supervisors who direct or oversee the performance of a recreation team.

Length of Training: This is a full day course spread out over 2 mornings.

Certificate: Course certificate will be issued to those successfully participating.
