Throughout the summer, the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA) is hosting a series of inspiring live webinar panel discussions on how the recreation industry has been transformed or is adapting as a result of COVID-19 and highlight parks and recreation's contributions to the development of our communities as the province and our industry navigate this new normal.
Hosted by Rob Boulding, SPRA Field Consultant, this panel will bring together recreation professionals from four communities across Saskatchewan (La Ronge, Bengough, Gull Lake, and Foam Lake) to discuss the effects that the pandemic has had on recreation and parks in their communities and how they have adapted throughout the stages of the province's re-opening.
Guest panelists for this session include:
-Jaime Helgason, Leisure Services Director, Town of Foam Lake - Leisure Services Board
-Debra Ashby, Recreation Director, Bengough Municipal Parks, Recreation & Cultural Authority
-Sara Kuntz, Recreation Director, Town of Gull Lake
-Kevin Roberts, Director of Sports, Culture and Recreation, JRMCC Sports, Culture & Recreation
This will be an interactive panel discussion, and we encourage all participants to ask questions and engage with our panelists.
This webinar is free to attend, and will be made available as a recording after the event.
