About this Course
COVID – 19 has focused attention on the important role that Environmental Services play in keeping our places and spaces safe. This is equally true for our recreation facilities. Environmental Services is often overlooked and underappreciated. The Re-Open Saskatchewan Plan emphasizes the importance of enhanced cleaning and disinfecting as a means to help minimize our health risk to COVID – 19.
This is an informative online session designed to engage and educate facility management staff from ALL organizational levels about the latest developments in infection prevention and control (IP&C) and how to adapt knowledge from healthcare to the recreational facility setting. This online presentation will provide overviews of:
Key IP&C concepts, including up-to-date details regarding COVID-19
IP&C product evaluation and selection criteria
IP&C procedures and auditing methods
Emerging trends and technologies in the field of IP&C
Practical ideas and resources to help enhance existing IP&C initiatives
